I was listening recently to Bill Hybels speak at the Hillsong Conference in Australia on the subject of time. He simply said what is important in our life - we schedule (calendar) time for it. And what we want to become in the future will determine how we schedule our time now.
Then he said, "If you have a vague intention of wanting to be a stronger follower of Jesus Christ, why would you not put church on your weekly schedule like anything else this is important?"
He used the example of Jesus in Luke 4:16 "And as His custom was, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day..."
How strong is your commitment to be a follower of Jesus Christ? May be the answer is found in taking a look at your calendar.
