Tonight - Worship on Wednesday - ONLINE at Rainsville First Baptist

The Lord has led our church to study the book of Job this year on Wednesday nights.  Our first night was February 19 as we gave an introduction to wisdom literature, who Job was, where he lived and where this book fits within the canon of Scripture.

So tonight at 6:10, we begin at Job 1:1 and will look more deeply at Job.  We all know about his deep suffering, but the question is - "Why?"  Why did he suffer?  Was there sin in his life that he was paying penance for?  At the very front door of this book, we learn about Job and his response to all that initially happened to him.

Yes, I believe this is God-ordained for us to be studying this book at this time in the life of our church and community.  Job suffered alone...and we need to learn from him how to suffer alone.
