"The Path is Void of ALL Our Possessions" - this Sunday, June 4, 2023 at Rainsville First Baptist Church

The groom was approached by a single friend who naively asked the friend who was about to walk the aisle, "How much as this wedding cost you?" to which he quickly replied, "Everything."

This groom was about to repeat his wedding vows to the love of his life and he would say,"And with all my worldly goods, with thee I share." 

If that is true, and it is, then why do we flench at a passage like Luke 14:33 "In the same way, therefore, every one of you who does not renounce all his possessions cannot be my disciple." 

This verse may well be the summary statement for all of Luke 14, but especially verses 25-35.
