From the Shepherd's Heart....Wednesday, June 28, 2017

The Mobile Mission Trip is here and I am so excited.  Our team joined by the Mountain View Baptist Church and Pastor Brian Harris leave Saturday returning July 8.

Please, pray for the team daily for strength, protection and anointing to teach His Word in the Spirit and power.

Bro. Keith and I both will be here this Sunday morning leading worship and then will drive down to join the team Sunday afternoon.

Tonight the Puppets are performing at Pisgah Baptist Church but we will have our 6:10 service in the Auditorium. Due to that there is no Student Service tonight.  Students may attend the 6:10 service in the Auditorium tonight.

The Children's Ministry is having a Fun Night at the Ultimate Air Bounce House (3322 Main Street East, Ft. Payne)  beginning at 6:00.  This is for children ages 3 through 6th grade.  The cost is $5 per child and everyone will meet at the Bounce House.  There will be no children's activities here tonight.

I am speaking tonight on "The Disciple Is To Be Like His Teacher" from Luke 6: 37-42.  What about judging?  Forgiving?  Condemning?  We'll see what Jesus says tonight.

Upward Football and Cheerleading Sign-ups and Evaluations begin tomorrow night from 5:30-7:00 at the Upward Field.  There will be two other sign-up opportunities in July.


Let me remind you due to the Mobile Mission Trip there will be no services this Sunday night, July 2 nor Wednesday night, July 5.  The church office will be open all next week except for Tuesday, July 4.
