Thoughts from our Community Outreach by David O. Cofield

What a wonderful experience we have had this weekend to be doing Community Outreach for our Easter weekend services. Thanks to Tom and MaryAnn Evans for planning and implementing a great outreach. Thanks to everyone who came out last night and today to serve. We had excellent turn-out. Thanks to everyone.
As I walked the streets of our town, I was reminded again the number one way to get a burden for your town is not in the altar of the church but on the streets of your town. But then I also thought...the surest way of people showing up Easter weekend will be a PERSONAL invitation from someone they know.
Who will you invite to be your guest Easter Sunday? What man or young man are you inviting to the Wild Game Supper? What friend from school are you inviting to the Youth Night? We are six days out from a tremendous opportunity for us to invite friends and family to hear the Gospel.
