Tonight the Student Ministry has their "Back to School" Party at Gary and Amy Blevins' home. Children's ministry continues on Wednesday night with Arrow Kids' Club kicking off at the end of the month.
With adults tonight, I conclude the teaching "How To Do A Prayer Journal." This has been a delightful experience for me teaching our congregation the importance and mechanics of a prayer journal.
All the material I have used I have put on the table in the hallway outside the office for pickup. I do believe the resources will be helpful.
This weekend is going to be a wonderful weekend of ministry focus for us at RFBC. This is the only ministry in our church that gets this focus - and it's Sunday School. Sunday School is the church organized and mobilized. It is the most important ministry we have as a church body.
I will share more about the weekend on Friday but suffice it to say here that all of our SS leaders are invited to a banquet in honor and appreciation of your ministry this Saturday night beginning at 6:00. You have received invitations and tonight is the deadline to register for the dinner. Call the church office today or email a staff member to let us know you and your spouse are coming. Dr. Jody Dean will be speaking.
