From the Shepherd's Heart....Wednesday, September 7, 2016

What a Wednesday we have!!!!

*  The first "official" meeting of the Arrow Kid's Club tonight beginning at 6:10.  All children go to the new Worship Area in the Children Center.

*  Tonight I continue our series through Philippians with chapter 2 speaking of how low Jesus went - even to voluntary death.  What a Savior!!!

Sadly, we are having to postpone the opening night of our Student Center opening until next Wednesday night.  But that is ok. We want it to be ready and right.

*  Students will meet in the Locker Room.
*  Meals begin back at 5!!!!!

Open House for the Children and Student Center will be this Sunday immediately following the morning service.  Before you leave, go by and walk through the newly remodeled facilities.

Special thanks to Bro. Jimmy Traylor for his supervision of this project.  He has done a laudable job to honor His Lord and our church. Thank you Bro. Jimmy.

This weekend is the 15th anniversary of 9-11 and we are honoring our Rainsville First Responders with a breakfast from 7-9.  You are welcomed and encouraged to come by to say "Thanks" to all our men and women who serve us in our community.  (Breakfast is only for our guests).

This Sunday night is a "Mission Summit."  What will happen?

*  The Proposed Mission portion of the 2016-17 Budget will be discussed
*  The proposed On Mission 1:8 Offering budget will be discussed
*  Deb Garner, Director of the Summit, will speak of their new ministry

We want to give you as much understanding as we can on what and how we support missions through RFBC.

The Proposed 2016-17 Budget is available for you in the Foyer and will be voted on in our monthly business meeting September 18.

I have news about a new sermon series beginning this Sunday and I will share that with you on Friday when I write again.
